This affordable, high-quality line of rodent holders is very useful for procedures requiring access to the tail, such as simple injections and blood sampling. These tubular holders can be positioned vertically or horizontally, depending on how comfortable you are holding the rodent.
To use, remove the nosepiece and position the restraint so that the slot faces upward. Secure the rodent by the base of the tail and gently guide it into the restraint, hind legs first. Once positioned, place the nosepiece into the groove and secure with the screw.
From offered six rodent holder models, two are equipped with angled noce cones for direct inahalnt gases.

How It Works
To use, simply remove the nosepiece and position the restrainer with the slit facing up. Secure the rodent by the base of the tail and gently guide it into the restrainer, hind limbs first. Once properly positioned, replace the nosepiece into the groove and tighten with the screw.

Four sizes are available to accommodate a wide range of body weights — from small mice (15–30 g) up to large rats (250–500 g), with optional nose cone variants for animals in the 125–500 g range. Inside diameters range from 0.975" to 2.500", and holder lengths from 3.125" to 8.500". This ensures a secure, stress-minimising fit for virtually every common laboratory rodent.
