PowerLab T1
The PowerLab T1 is the central building block of the PowerLab Sensors range of educational physiological sensors. It features 4 general-purpose USB inputs, an isolated stimulator, and non-isolated analog outputs, providing the most flexible and versatile PowerLab Sensor arrangement possible.
As the foundation of an in-lab sensor system, the T1 synchronizes signals acquired by multiple sensors with high precision, allows a set-up to be expanded or contracted without effort, and performs human-safe electrical stimulation up to 100 V, 80 mA. It ships with a Stimulating Bar Electrode and is certified safe for human connection.
Key features
- 4 general-purpose USB sensor inputs
- Constant-current isolated stimulator: 100 V, 80 mA, up to 10 ms stimulation pulse duration
- Non-isolated analog outputs
- Supplied with Stimulating Bar Electrode, USB-C to USB-C cable, and USB-C to USB-A cable
- Compatible with Lt and Lt LabStation
- IEC 60601 certified for use on humans
The PowerLab T1 can be used for data acquisition in all Lt or Lt LabStation lessons, and as a stimulator in six lessons. It plugs straight into a Windows or macOS® computer via USB connection. Software is required and is purchased separately.
Applications of PowerLab T1
Used as the synchronizing hub for multi-sensor human physiology labs, and as the stimulator for reflex, nerve conduction, and skeletal muscle function experiments.
