Features

The PowerLab Biopotential Sensor is a dual-channel, galvanically-isolated, high-performance differential amplifier optimized for the measurement of a wide variety of biopotential signals. This highly portable sensor includes an in-built data acquisition unit – simply plug it in and record ECG/EKG, EEG, EMG, and EOG at up to 40kHz in Lt or Lt LabStation.

Within Lt and Lt LabStation, the Biopotential Sensor can be used to process biosignals relevant to:

  • Autonomic and sympathetic nervous system function
  • Cardiovascular disease and myocardial dysfunction
  • Muscle activation and fatigue
  • Evoked responses
  • Heart rate variability / arrhythmia
  • Small animal compound action potentials

Key features

  • Supplied with Shielded Lead Wires (5 pk) and Disposable ECG Electrodes (100 pk)
  • Electrical isolation from mains power circuitry for subject safety
  • Low-noise, high-gain differential amplifier for biological signal measurement
  • Dual-channel, 40kHz sampling rate
  • IEC 60601 certified for use on humans

The Biopotential Sensor plugs into the PowerLab T1 or straight into a Windows or macOS® computer via USB connection.

Applications of PowerLab Sensors Biopotential

Used across ECG/EKG, EEG, EMG, and EOG teaching labs, including Heart and ECG, Autonomic Nervous System, Peripheral Nerve Function, Muscle and EMG, and Reflexes and Reaction Times.
